As a developer, I spend most of my time in a headspace-heavy, male-dominate environment. Starting a partner dance like Bachata has brought much-needed balance to my life. It's not just a dance-it's a global connection.

I was surprised by how Bachata feels like a universal language. You are able to instantly connect with someone through movement and rhythm. It’s incredible how much you can express and understand just through the dance. Bachata brings such a positive energy into my life. The moment I step onto the dance floor, all other worries disappear—it’s just me, the music, and the connection. It’s helped me feel more present and confident, both on and off the floor. Give yourself the chance to learn the basics and build from there. The journey is deeply rewarding, and if you keep training, you’ll not only grow as a dancer but also gain so much joy along the way.

I discovered that I don't have to be a 'natural dancer' to enjoy dancing! Already in the first classes, I realized that this isn't some competition - it's fun, movement, music, and good vibes. I feel more confident not only on the dance floor but also in everyday life. It's like a little 'restart' after a long day - you come to class, laugh, move, and leave with a much lighter heart. Don't overthink it - just come and try! Nobody expects you to know anything already. Everyone starts from zero, and together this journey is so much more fun.
