Mauricio & Anna

Anna and Mauricio are tango dancers, teachers, and passionate milongueros. They trained extensively with renowned maestros in Buenos Aires, where they lived for several years and specialized in the tango salón style. Their dancing is rooted in tradition, musicality, and connection — the essence of social tango. Today, they divide their time between Buenos Aires and Helsinki, continuing their studies and sharing their knowledge through classes, performances, and community events. In Buenos Aires, they are regular milongueros at some of the city's most iconic milongas (social dance events).

Class Description

Step into the magic of Argentine Tango with Mauricio & Anna, two passionate instructors dedicated to helping absolute beginners find their rhythm and connection. In this Tango Beginners course, you will:

✔️Learn the foundations of Argentine Tango, including posture, embrace, and basic walking patterns.

✔️ Discover how to lead and follow with confidence and clarity.

✔️ Understand musicality and how to interpret Tango’s unique rhythms.

✔️ Practice simple yet elegant figures you can use right away on the dance floor.

The focus is on comfort, connection, and fun – no need to memorize long choreographies. Each movement you learn will be practiced in a supportive, step-by-step way, so you feel confident whether you’re dancing with a friend or someone you’ve just met. Whether your goal is to social dance at milongas, enjoy a new hobby with your partner, or simply try something different, this class will give you the perfect start. By the end of the course, you’ll have the basic skills to enjoy your first social dance and continue your Tango journey.
